He did blow it.

This was the last big opportunity to motivate groups of people to actually move their fat asses on Nov. 6 and vote for him, but instead he played it quite, frankly, dull (with the exception of the thing about horses, and objecting to the “apology” adjective.)

If Obama “won” tonight it isn’t because he got more people to vote for him, but because Romney’s love of the ICC and endorsing a couple of Obama policies cost him a few wingnut votes.

So in other words, you’re just going to ignore the fact that basically everyone on the planet says Obama dominated, and substitute your own ridiculous judgment. Gotcha.
