Never heard of him, but I’m fairly new to the political blog world, mostly because I’m usually five years behind other people regarding anything to do with computers/internet. LGF is the only blog where I’ve posted. In my brother’s case, he was quite civil, but thought my failure to listen to the conspiracy stuff was arrogance.

I haven’t heard of that guy either, but I never go to DU. Sounds like he’s some guy on the forum who boasts, rather than a blogger.

I hang out a lot in the lefty/progressive sphere, but even so LGF is the only site where I find it’s worth posting.

I do find this happens a lot: people accuse one of being ‘close-minded’ or ‘arrogant’ when one doesn’t wish to engage in the discussion. But some discussions are not worth having; it’s like holocaust deniers wanting you to ‘at least consider’ their so-called evidence.

(Not saying your brother is a holocaust denier, of course, but that this is often a complaint made by proponents of conspiracy theories)
