I prefer Swedish lingonberries- they are so amazing with the giblet gravy and ham or turkey- slightly sweeter, not as ‘tart’ as a cranberry, but the kick is still there. Costco (or Ikea, if you dare).

This is not a matter of aesthetics—cosmic stability is at stake. If you remove the top of the cranberry can and puncture the bottom, a sustained puff of compressed air will slide the Sacred Cylinder onto the dish intact. In an auspicious year, even the embossed lot number from the can bottom can be read.
