Farscape actually did pretty well for itself, considering it was on Scifi all its life. But Firefly got totally fraked by Fox from day one. Shown out of order, slapped in the Friday Night Death Slot, and virtually ignored by the brass. That it got a film in the end is proof that it had the potential to go far, given a serious chance.
