There was no Al Qaida presence in Iraq until we created the power vacuum that allowed them to move in.

I don’t expect that lesson to be taken by the people behind the original calls for Regime Change.

It’s almost as if unilaterally invading a country and overthrowing a dictator without a plan has long-term consequences. Who knew?
