While I hate to judge before all the facts are in, it appears the media has overstated this flu pandemic. What was the body count when New Orleans was being wiped off the face of the map? !0,000?

While it had the same transmission and infection factor, as the 1918 variety. The reason for the medicos caution, it’s virulence with in the body was not nearly any where near that of the 1918 flu.

The media was in panic over drive where caution was in order.
