Remember, at least in the House of Representatives this is a 100% Democratic Bill now - and they can’t dodge out from under (though some are frantically trying to - see Senator Dodd (D-Stupid) who has decided to refi his two loans with Countrywide so as to not give any impression of wrongdoing. No impression of wrongdoing doesn’t = no wrongdoing.
