The one man crime spree is at it again. But Florida being Florida, and that this is once again a domestic disturbance, the alleged victim will relent and not press charges because she fears for her life.

Prosecutors will once again come up against the inevitable fact that people like Zimmerman get away with a whole lot of criminal acts because their victims fear for their lives once their assailant is released from jail (we’re not talking about a crime for which the penalty is life without parole after all).

Sadly, it may take another deceased victim before Zimmerman is behind bars and no longer a menace to anyone else.

It’s possible this might go to court, as the girlfriend claims she’s pregnant, and in Florida that automatically bumps this up to a felony. He’ll not be eligible for bail and really, by this point, who’d want to foot the money to bail his ass out anyway?
