I know. So many of our legal issues in the US have entered the “not even wrong” zone.

After all, what sane version of freedom of expression would lead to a right to harangue women as they visit a clinic?

The version of freedom where you are free to make sure those women know they are sluts who are going to hell to burn for all eternity.

I have come to realize that religious freedom…as I define it…is not at all the same thing as Catholic and Evangelical conservatives define it. The gulf is so wide in understanding the term that actual debate is impossible.
