The latest scam being seen in Wisconsin is targeting college students. Students have been receiving calls and caller ID reads, “FBI.”

The caller identifies themselves as being an FBI agent and they tell the student they have students loans that are due and must be paid.

The caller then threatens to have the student arrested if they don’t send a money order to a specified address. They are playing on fear.

The BBB says if you get a call like this you should hang up and call local law enforcement to report it. You should also call the BBB
