You know, it’d be cool if when you say “we” you clarify that you really are speaking for white Americans, and probably even more specifically white male Americans.

I think most minorities and a lot of women are not pining for the “old days” or the “simpler time” where they had fewer rights and less freedom.

I would revise that to “conservative” Americans. This white American ain’t pinin’ for the old days of Jim Crow and suppression of women and minorities.

Of note, you can slice up a number of ways Donald Trump was put over the top in the election: One was white women went all-in on him.
