A New Yorker picked up my PGH accent:
“Where ya from?”
“Pittsburgh.”
“Oh. Out west.”
Forgot whether I’ve asked before, but how accurate is the PGH accent? The Philly one is pretty spot on.
I also just recently discovered the word “Yinz”. I still can’t get a grasp on how it’s used.
