As I mentioned, a lot of what we hope to achieve will be made possible by the particular dynamics of the network, which we think will be an improvement on existing mediums insomuch as that it takes into account various negative dynamics that have become evident in other internet-based networks ranging from Daily Kos to reddit to memeorandum Pajamas Media. The network will be able to expand in such a way as to minimize the negative results that occur when lesser bloggers are brought in, for example; it should be able to grow a great deal without being noticeably watered down or unwieldy.
