Oh, it was definite from the start. There’s a reason the McCain folks sheltered her so thoroughly on the campaign trail.

I can understand some folks not seeing it, though. It was really mind-boggling to see a professionally run Presidential campaign make such an obvious mistake in choosing the VP. Some folks just wanted to believe that it couldn’t possibly be that bad. Too bad for all of us that it really was.
