There is a legitimate argument on that end, it was raised by religious groups (like the Catholic Bishops and even the less conservative groups within the Church). This though, after the compromise and all the other stuff is the GOP taking the ball and tripping all over themselves.

They wanted not just exemptions for themselves. They overreached. They wanted anybody to be able to claim a moral exemption.

The goal of the Church is control of women, too. I don’t see anything legitimate about that.
