That’s what I love about it. The GOP could have declared “victory” when the revised mandate was issued, made hay out of Obama “backing down,” and done a victory lap. But because the crazies running the base refused to accept anything but status quo ante bellum, drove themselves into the darkest regions of conservative thought, and now are pissed that women voters are repulsed by what they saw behind the mask.
