Also of note: Sending members to serve a hitch in the Army is a tactic sometimes seen with gangs of many races in the US. The idea being to have the military train the men so that they come back far more lethal and can use their skills to teach others and improve the marksman ship of the entire gang that way. The Army actively works to prevent this tactic, but is not always successful.

Note: This is one point that should not be linked to conservatism in any shape or form. Skinhead gangs use this sort of infiltration tactic, but some do Latino and African-American gangs. It’s a crime thing, not a racial or political thing.

First I’ve heard of this conspiracy. Get your training from the Army? Really? Gang members think this deeply and want to leave their hoods and current income? Makes no sense, and I don’t believe it.
