While I despise Romney with the blazing passion of a million supernovae, I can not honestly say he is the worst that the GOP has put up.

Romney is a calculating (often miscalculating) compassionless, utterly self serving and utterly dishonest douche. The man’s douchyness knows no bounds. His knowledge of foreign affairs is desperately lacking to say the least, and he is not particularly bright.

However, despite being evil and smarmy, he is not an abject moron.

But I have to believe that not very deep down at all, he knows that he is lying and sees the GOP and everyone else with the contemptuous sneer of a con man.

People like Palin, Bachman, Santorum, Inhofe etc… on the other hand are true believers and utter morons in additions to being utterly self serving, mean douches.

Which is worse… The one who knowingly does evil just to serve his short term goals, but would just as soon do the right thing if he thought it was in his interest, or the true believer?
