That means that the exchanges will be shuttered as well as most financial and news reporting firms from lower Manhattan. WTC and Battery Park City also affected.

It’s also meaning that depending on where the waters eventually rise to, that it could cause significant flood damage to the subways at South Ferry, including the Fulton Terminal.

Flooding of the MTA tunnels could mean that the subways could be out of commission for a while.
