All true - now. Few will remember him in a couple of decades, though. There’s nothing particularly compelling or innovative about his music. Presley and the Beatles, on the other hand, broke distinctive new musical ground in their day. Jackson just took what was already well established and turned it up to 11. For a little while. He hasn’t done anything but perform as a sideshow freak for the last 20 years or so.

I’m well, and will be doing as little as possible this weekend, which still leaves a lot on my plate. Starting with applying grout sealer to a newly-repaired shower stall, and probably some industrial-strength weeding.
