And they totally did.
That reminds me of the great documentary on life on a carrier:
A very frank look at the conditions in which our servicemen and women serve. It’s a little preachy in a way, but it shows the often terrible conditions that military members have to endure on service.
As their CO freely admits, in the end they’re paid less than minimum wage.
