Lidane clearly said that what she meant was that he should be in jail and charged with murder while awaiting trial, in her follow-up comments.

Arrest Zimmerman for murder and hold him while the investigation is ongoing. He’s clearly dangerous.

The difference between jail and prison makes her original comment reasonable, unless you’re looking for an outrage.

Your comment is also reasonable, unless you’re actually saying he shouldn’t be charged and held.
