Also- a friend of mine told me years ago I couldn’t be a politician because I had too much integrity. Later, another friend, who is politically active, told me I would never get anywhere in politics because I’m not purchasable (think tfk’s evil money cult). If you don’t kiss up to special interests, you don’t get the money. I’m not interested in selling out to lobbyists.
