No- you’re the one playing semantics. A certified short form usually doesn’t contain the hospital’s name. It IN NO WAY invalidates the remaining information or is ANY LESS a legal document accepted nation wide as proof of citizenship.

Mine - and I have the actual one they send home with your baby-self - does not mention the hospital. It does list the city and county, the doctor’s name, my parents’ names (no mention of anyone’s religion at all), my name, date and time of birth, sex, and weight. It also has my really cute little footprint.

All the things the nirthers think might keep it from being displayed aren’t there.

The short form - which I also possess in case I need a passport or something - shows the same info, but not in calligraphy.

Nirthers? Get a grip. Please!
