EON.
What models do you like to build?

Right now, I’m working on classic (pre-1945) cars in 1/24 and 1/25 scale. Last week, it was 1/72 airplanes (three A-26 Invaders, a Boeing 247D, a Northrop Gamma, and a Ford 5-AT Trimotor). After I get tired of cars (besides classics, I like exotics, muscle cars, and police/fire vehicles), I’ll do spacecraft for a while; besides a Saturn V, I’ve got a 1/72 Space:1999 Eagle I’m going to put a full interior in. I also build armor in 1/72 and 1/76, warships in 1/700, 1/720, and 1/350, and airplanes in 1/48, plus science fiction kits in any scale.

Believe it or not, I generally have two or three similar models on my workbench at the same time, working on them “assembly-line” style, doing assemblies, any modifications, painting, etc., in turn; while one is drying, I’m working on the other. I average about 12 hours actual work per model, and the total “production time” for any given one (or two or three) is about a week. My usual procedure is working in the evening while watching a movie on DVD or tape.

/Hey, it’s a way to kill time.

cheers
