I recently went to a sushi happy hour and ordered a piece of spicy tuna. I thought it was going to be a piece of fish that was kind of spicy. It turned out to be tuna that was chopped up and mixed with mayo in a roll. I almost vomited when I ate it.

I enjoy most of the sushi I’ve tried, but spicy tuna is one I have trouble with. Whatever they use for heat seems to be the problem. It’s funny- my crews have always included Mexicans and they usually have a large can of jalapenos that they pop down like I eat cookies- but they can’t handle wasabi- different kinds of spice. And they got all bug-eyed at the suckers on the octopus pieces. Especially when I told them it was taco!
