I’ll be impressed if they secure a conviction. Right now, after seeing cops avoid jail time and time again on the claim of “I was afraid for my life,” I’m too cynical to see this case going anywhere but to acquittal.

Yeah, that’s the sad part isn’t it? We’re happy about an indictment. I see all the people who worship the cops telling people to shut up because cops get killed too to which I have to point out not only are cop killers prosecuted, they’re much more likely to receive the death penalty which I think is trash because that actually does imply that certain lives matter more.
