Thanks to De Gaulle’s prophetic vision of the US no longer being a reliable defense partner, we (the French) have nuclear subs with nuclear missiles. We don’t need the US. If I were the EU, I’d place all US bases on EU soil on lockdown (except medical emergencies, etc) and request the Pentagon to evacuate asap.
