Here’s what I used:
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup oil
1/3 cup margarine (or shortening)
3 eggs
4 cups flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 additional beaten egg for glazing
-your choice of filling
-cream sugar, oil and shortening then add eggs and juice
-blend with dry ingredients and roll into ball
-divide into 4 parts, roll to 1/8 ” and use cup rip to make circles
-put filling in middle, pinch three corners then glaze with egg
-bake at 350F for about 15 minutes
