That description may have been updated since the NotW being shuttered, but it was in the same newspaper division as News International IIRC.
I’d be interested to know if making a business decision on the basis of “personal shame” (Rupert’s words) is a legally permissible basis for making a decision such as shutting down a publicly traded company such as NotW. Wouldn’t that constitute a breach of their responsibility to shareholders?
