If it were up to me, we’d have an amendment to the constitution to the effect that there will be no laws against victimless crimes. That means that people have a right to decide to take dangerous drugs at any time or even get help to commit suicide. I can not see any moral excuse for restricting the freedom of others to take risks with their own lives. Meddling where one isn’t wanted with the policeman’s gun backing you up is not morally excusable.

Unwanted care is a huge issue in end of life care. If we can’t sustain life at a certain level of quality, we should give people the opportunity to vote for quality over quantity.
