Really, it’s a win-win for Obama. Congress says no, then they are at fault for all the bad stuff that is happening in Syria. Congress says Yes, then they are at fault for taking us to war.

It depends. I personally think if Congress votes the authorization down in a smart way, the public won’t hold it against them because the public doesn’t really care all that much about what happens to Syrians.
