I’m still trying to figure out the part about being consistent. How is a country like Israel the same as a terrorist organization like ISIS?

And how is what Israel did in Gaza, regardless of how I feel about it, even remotely like what ISIS is threatening? It’s not as if they’re demanding that all Gazans convert to Judaism and threatening to kill them if they don’t.

Libertarians think being consistent is more important that being in touch with reality. They think their philosophy is the most consistent, and therefore the best. It’s easier to achieve consistence when that bothersome ‘reality’ is not a factor. And valuing consistence so highly lets them undervalue humans and other inconsistent things, like reality.
