I know a bunch of American conservatives who are great people … as long as you keep them off of US politics. Funny, smart, generous and full of empathy — and then, “Barry is a scumbag slum lord!” “Hillary should be in jail!”

Sadly, it does seem like more and more of life is getting politicized these days (at least in the US).

When politics reveals itself as a freakn’ cosmic battle between Good and Evil, it tends to permeate everything.
