7 years ago, I went to my parents’ house and we watched the partial eclipse through thin clouds. It was still cool to watch. This time, I’m hoping to get a look at the real deal, also from my parents’ farm, which will this time be fully under the umbra. The weather forecast so far is favorable, but with only 81 seconds of totality, it’s going to be down to chance clouds.
