A note about healthcare reform… There has already been some change from the bill - for the positive.

One of my relatives needs seizure medication. They have been on this medication for over two years - and it is/was/is covered by the insurance.

The insurance company decided on a whim that they would no longer cover this medication. My father, an attorney, a good attorney, got on the phone with them and pointed out some of the language in the health care bill that prevents them from arbitrarily changing coverage.

He also mentioned the sorts of punitive damages that they are now potentially open for. The insurance company, now sees the error of its ways and is going back to covering the medication - which they had already approved and had been paying for for over two years.
