Calculus is fun! And it ties in with so many other things…the derivative of a function representing an object’s position in time, in the physical world, can be thought of as velocity…and the second derivative is the object’s acceleration! How cool is that?!

The other critically important idea is limits. Once you wrap your head around a small number of ideas, there is nothing in the physical world that can’t be described.
