I installed it on a virtual PC instance, completed in about 15 minutes, haven’t had any time to muck with it since a drive in my raid crapped out. That’s fixed so hopefully will have some info this weekend.

15 minutes? What version of Virtual PC are you running, and on what real hardware? You must have mounted the ISO rather than real DVD, I bet.
