Looks like they’re going to claim that increasing the deficit to keep tax hikes for the wealthy is a victory for them. If that’s their ultimate goal then I guess it’s mission accomplished.

Pretty much like I mentioned yesterday. They’re likely to increase the debt limit and to nothing else. Of course the GOP will try to kill as many programs in committee such as they may do with the James Webb Space Telescope. Now a mild observation. It’s interesting that we haven’t heard a thing from the Democrats on the Hill save the president. How come the Democrats aren’t speaking out like they once did? Pelosi was never shy to speak her mind. She’s now in the minority in the house so we see less of her. Which leaves the Democrats with only the Senate to speak out. Unfortunately, that puts Harry Reid in the spot light and he’s never been a good communicator. He mumbles and you can barely hear a word he says.
