It’d matter if the GOP or the media which continually gives the GOP the benefit of the doubt cared about precedent at all. All that seems to matter is the almighty narrative.

And that narrative is mainly the one about being his own man and willing to shake things up. The media loves that crap because they don’t have to form an opinion and it is bait for both backers and haters.

Bring on the hits! Bring on the subscriptions, who gives a goddamn about the country? Money is to be made.
