Massport officials said other passengers and some crew members had to tackle 22-year-old Itay Atmor and secure him to a seat with seatbelts until the plane could land at Logan at about 10 p.m.

Authorities then boarded the plane and took him into custody.

Police said Atmor is from Israel. Officials said it appeared as if he had a panic attack.

He may be charged with interfering with a flight crew.

Delta Air Lines flight #86 had 206 passengers onboard.
