Online posts have no “tone” no “body language” and no “facial expressions” to cue people as to your meaning. They are simply characters on a screen and hence are much easier to misinterpret. This is why some genius whose name may be forgotten to history but still deserves our homage nonetheless invented the “sarc tag.”

While I agree with you having fallen victim to those problems myself plenty of times in the past, there is still a series of past conversations and posts recorded on the site.

Clearly however I haven’t earned enough LGF cred for everyone to know I’m a liberal yet however.
