whoops!…Mary Clayton, Merry is a studio name btw, is the sister of Sam Clayton, the percussionist for Little Feat and a personal friend of mine…she slammed ‘Gimme Shelter’ in the studio at like 7am in the morning with her towering back up…just a tid bit

…and that was ONLY 40 years ago. Has always been one of my favorite songs.
