Do you understand what a mass extinction event is yet? If the earth faces a mass extinction event, it definitely poses a gigantic risk of human extinction as well.

I’m still waiting on the study that shows humanity faces extinction.

Do you understand that the CERN experiment does not make the claim of showing that anything is wrong in the climate models, and that numerous other studies have shown that cosmic rays are not respsonsible for warming? Did you read the skeptical science article?

What do you think the CERN study shows? Can you actually summarize it?

The phrase I gave you came straight from their study. Why do you think they’re lying?

Yes, this is the standard denier position of ‘it’s all too uncertain’. It’s really not a new thing.

I really am checking out of the thread, but please, do yourself a favor and read the skeptical science website. It really does have answers to these standard denier positions.

And ask yourself why on earth, on a highly technical subject, you think that you’re somehow better-informed than 97% of climate scientists. Are there any other fields where you also feel 97% of scientists are wrong?

The science doesn’t toss logic out the window. You cannot say, logically…. “We don’t have all the information and we don’t fully understand all the information we do have” and then say “We’re 95% certain one input is the cause of all the warming”. That doesn’t make sense.
