Your level of disappointment would be nothing compared to a woman’s level of disappointment.

Guantanimo is a much more benign issue than abortion: easier to make promises on, easier to break promises on. Abortion is a much more fundamental issue. Many don’t make promises about abortion lightly.

Though Romney may get practical in office, those who take abortion control seriously may become emboldened making ‘practicality’ on abortion difficult.

All good points although, Gitmo does harken to a fundamental American belief in fair trials. For abortion I really don’t think any sitting President really wants to deal with it and would do what ever they could to prevent a bill coming across their desk. The real worry is whole the sitting president appoints to the courts because that is where the real threat to abortion rights will come from.
