Many sports folks, not just NFL players spend a lot of their days in pain.
It’s a very high price to pay.

It’s not just professional sports either. Got a family friend whose son played soccer through middle school and into high school. He’s not even 25 and he’s already had two shoulder surgeries and one knee surgery. He wanted to join the Air Force, but didn’t even make it a week in boot before they had to release him. He’s since tried without success to get into the Navy, Marines, and the Army.
