I’ve known hard-core libertarians who equate liberalism with National Socialism because of the alleged “socialist” connection. That’s always bothered me. Hitler was anything but a socialist and you’d think that a quick review of history would reveal that but no…anything to demonize liberals is acceptable, history be damned.
