Wow. Someone deleted the post. And here I thought I’d been unoffensive compared to some posts. Let’s try this again, shall we?

The lack of evidence of conventional abuse has nothing to do with the possibility of Rifka Bary being killed in an honour killing. The statement, thereby, that no evidence of abuse was detected is meaningless in this context at best, and damaging at worst: it provokes the conclusion among the uninitiated that the threat to her is nil, when in point of fact this is unknown. The only way in which such a farcical point of investigation could have mattered is if Mr. Bary had leaped up, brandished a knife, and proclaimed his eagerness to slit the throats of little Christian kids. So: unhelpful. Unlikely.

Secondly, the investigation was “supervised” by no less than CAIR, itself. Well, what better choice to mediate a discussion of islamic religious supremacism than an islamic supremacist organization? Why, it fits perfectly when you think about it.

I wonder if anyone had this kind of talk when the Said girls were killed. Nah. Just my aimless suspicions, I guess.
