Democrats have to find a way to put off any vote on a SC nominee until after midterms…pray for senate to flip, then delay till start of new congress.

Democrats do not have the votes to block any nomination.

We can only hope for Trump incompetence in nominating someone for the bench, and picking someone so incompetent that even the GOP will force them to decline the nomination or withdraw.

McConnell has completely fucked the nation for decades to come with his complete mockery of the advise and consent clause. He’s destroyed comity, but yeah, we’re supposed to be civil.

McConnell has done more to destroy the judiciary than any other person in government, including Trump. Trump’s the beneficiary of McConnell’s actions.

But how did we get here? Dems not voting in midterms, or getting on the purity pony ride and self-immolation over Obamacare instead of defending it at every turn. We are going to see a further erosion of civil and voting rights and all rights that people take for granted thanks to the feckless ****s in the GOP.
