I’m also inclined to agree with Hobbes. I expect some nasty resource wars to break out in the next few decades as we continue to fail to come to grips with AGW. It doesn’t help that the developed nations are short-sighted plutocracies or trending in that direction.

Hobbes is the only philospher I really took to heart, since his conclusions were actually based on field observations that, unfortunately, seem to be constantly revalidated and repeated.
